On March 22, 2026, Pascual continued our Mezcal with Friends series with La Jefa for a night rooted in agave, craft, and connection. We welcomed David Suro and his son and beverage director Dan Suro for an evening of thoughtfully paired cocktails, expressive mezcals, and dishes from Chef Isabel Coss designed to move with every pour.

David spent decades championing authentic Mexican cuisine and agave culture, from founding Siembra Spirits to co-authoring the James Beard Award–winning book Agave Spirits. Dan continued that legacy, building beverage programs rooted in transparency, tradition, and innovation.

Guests experienced exceptional pours, stories from the heart of agave culture, and a night celebrating friendship, food, and mezcal.
