Mezcal with Friends returned for its fourth and final installment of the year, though for one night, it may have been Tequila with Friends.

 

We welcomed Casa Dragones for a one-night-only dinner paired with cocktails by Fabiola Padilla, one of Mexico’s most visionary mixologists and founder of Bekeb in San Miguel de Allende. Recognized by 50 Best Bars for two consecutive years, Bekeb has become a global reference point for thoughtful, ingredient-driven cocktail culture.

Fabiola’s approach is rooted in tradition and driven by creativity. Each cocktail honored Mexico’s ancestral ingredients while embracing modern technique and refined presentation; layered, expressive pours that carried both story and intention.

Guests gathered around the table for an evening of agave, shared plates, and deep respect for the craft behind every glass.
